Galen continues to have a great time in NZ. He has played two rugby matches for the hometown Rolleston Rugby team (under 11 1/2 league, so some big farmboys on other teams). He got his dog fix from Nipper as we had dinner with new friends in Kirwee, and he showed Rick the real way to make the upper crust for Rick's famous homemade apple pie. He pretty much loves all things Kiwi, and if school didn't keep getting in the way, he would enjoy it even more.
Galen looks good in that rugby uniform! We miss him dearly around the house, but are happy that he is enjoying NZ so much. Keep talking about how wonderful NZ is and watch your guest list grow....Zach, Erik and Connor are ready to come visit.
ReplyDeleteThat would be great. We move to our next house in September and it is a huge country home near Christchurch. We'll even have 4 sheep in a paddock to watch along with acres of trees and nursery plants. Felicia can even garden. Nothing fancy, but lots of room during the summer months. The best running is right out the back door. Come on down!
