The excitement is building and we are really getting ready for the move down under. Now there are 6 of us invading the South Island as we are bringing Tyler's friend Nick to spend his college summer vacation with us. We're really hoping that he can keep an eye on Tyler as they are looking to play every golf course on the island, and maybe a couple on the North Island also. Heck, they may even make a trip to Australia to see if they can hit golfballs there too. Only 5 weeks of school left here before Tyler graduates, Felicia and I are really looking forward to the break from teaching, and Sydney and Galen are actually getting excited about the move. We should be purchasing our plane tickets this week and the visa packets will be submitted in a few days. We look forward to vacation visits from any and all friends who have always dreamed of visiting the land of hobbits.

OK, six Ericksons. Your family is growing. Wait til all your friends figure out that air fares are coming down. If that's not enough, we could use you for overflow with the Antarctic crew. Lynn's mom just went back to the states with our friends the Beckhelms. We're empty now and ready for the next crew - you guys. Let me know what we should put in the fridge.

ReplyDeleteWe just locked in our initial home in Rolleston. We will be there until mid-Sept and hope to find something in the same area for the remainder of the year. Cuts down on Felicia's commute to the kids' school and it sleeps six. By the way, do you have my cell number? If not, I'll email it to you.
ReplyDeleteYeah, your cell number is 5. We'll be putting you in the same block as all the other insane inmates that stay with us. Now if you're talking about your mobile phone, that's another story. I'll be needing it to call and find out the best time to come over and clean out your fridge.
